Kalimantan or Borneo Indonesia is the place to explore. This world’s third largest island covering the area of 747,000 square kilometer and covered by one of the world’s largest stretches of tropical rain forest through which flows tremendous mighty rivers which are the island’s highway.
The island is rich with many fascinating and endemic wildlife; the orangutans, proboscis monkeys, gibbons and species of monkeys, Argus pheasants, snakes including the three species of flying snakes, sun bears, 600 hundred species of birds including the hornbills which play an important role in the Dayak mythology. Our trips will take you to explore Orang Utan, the mighty Mahakam river and it’s tributaries to meet the Dayak Tribes and experience their mystical arts & cultures, trekking through the jungle in searching for the exotic flora and fauna.

DAY 01: PANGKALAN BUN - ORANGUTAN TOUR (L,D)
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the boat.The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat about 6m by 2m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner on the boat and overnight on the boat or lodge. While overnight on the boat we serve thin mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen.
DAY 02 : ORANGUTAN TOUR – EXPLORATION (B,L,D)
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2 hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok Tanguy, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans. At Camp Leakey you will have opportunity to trek into the rain forest with your expert guide and the forestry rangers to appreciate the flora as well as perhaps sighting wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch provided on boat. Afternoon visit the feeding station to see rehabilitate orangutans are given additional foods. We will then sail back down the river to overnight on the boat.
DAY 03 : KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast boating down to Kumai before transfer by car to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination. In the appropriate time, transfer out to the airport for your next destination.

DAY 03: EXTRA DAY AT PARK (B,L,D)
The EXTRA DAY at the park you will explore deeper in the jungle, trekking in the different trails, and you may encounter different orangutan both wild or ex-captive and other wildlife, tropical rain forest of Borneo, and different beauty of nature. We can guarantee that the tropical rain forest of Borneo and its natural beauty will spoil and make your best of life time adventure experience. Meals and overnight served on the boat. (B, L, D).
DAY 04: KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast boating down to Kumai before transfer by car to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination. In the appropriate time, transfer out to the airport for your next destination.

DAY 01: BALIPAPAN AIRPORT - LOAJANAN - MAHAKAM RIVER
Depart from Balikpapan 09.,00 leaving for Loajanan for boarding the house boat for exciting Mahakam river. Lunch, dinner and overnight on boat.
DAY 02: MUARA MUNTAI - TANJUNG ISUY -MANCONG - MELAK.
After breakfast on boat, stop at Muara muntai for observing the way of the people life at wooden village then continue the trip by motorized canoe over Jempang Lake and passing a beautiful views along the river for reaching Tanjung Isuy and continue by motor for Mancong for grand long house. On arrival, welcome ceremony will be performed by Dayak Banuaq tribe in front of their Long house and return to the house boat cruise up for Melak. Lunch box, dinner and overnight on boat.
DAY 03: MELAK - EHENG - TREK - KERSIK LUWAY – MAHAKAM
Breakfast on your boat then full day excursion by car for visiting Eheng village for old communal long house , and then you may have opportunity for jungle trekking to observe the huge trees, the return to KersikLuway for Black Orchid forest waterfall then back to the boat down river. Lunch , dinner and overnight on boat.
DAY 04: TENGGARONG - LOAJANAN – BALIKPAPAN
Breakfast on your boat then visiting to the Museum and Royal cemetery at Tenggarong then down river for Loajanan and proceed to Balikpapan.
DAY 05: BALIKPAPAN - DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel then transfer to the airport for next destination.

The trip is an easy adventure, and will take you to have an insight look of the current Dayak living as well as remaining rain forest left in South Borneo. You can make this trip any time of the year. The river is a safe, flat, and almost no rapid at all. DAY 01: BANJARMASIN ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Banjarmasin airport in south Borneo, another guide will meet you and transfer to Banjarmasin city and check in to a 2* hotel. Rest of the day is free with dinner on personal expenses.
DAY 02: BANJARMASIN – PANDAK DAUN - LOKSADO (B,L,D)
Early in the morning after breakfast visit the traditional floating market, where many canoes sell and buy the vegetables, and other stuff. Afterwards return to the hotel. then proceed to Cempaka village to see traditional diamond mining and polishing, Next, visiting Pandak Daun village to see water buffaloes return to the stall (optional). Afterwards, leaving to Loksado. Overnight on lodge/cottage for your dinner and accommodation.
DAY 03: MUARA HATIP – MALARIS - HARATAI (B,L,D)
After breakfast, Transfer to Malaris to see traditional long house,then trekking to Haratai waterfall crossing forest, rivers, longhouses, hanging bridge and traditional farms. Afterwards, return to Loksado through different trail passing big trees, valley and 3 isolated village and longhouse. In the afternoon, return to the small lodge for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 04: LOKSADO - BAMBOO RAFTING - BANJARMASIN (B,L)
After breakfast, Going to forest to cut the bamboos and setting the bamboo raft with villagers, then, do the bamboo rafting across mount Kantawan and tropical rainforest alongside of Amandit river. Return to Banjarmasin. Overnight at the 2* hotel in Banjarmasin.
DAY 05: BANJARMASIN DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to next destination.
