West Papua or Western New Guinea was annexed by Indonesia from the Netherlands in 1969 and is the western half of the island of New Guinea and smaller islands to its west. The region is administered as two provinces: Papua and West Papua. The eastern half of New Guinea is the country of Papua New Guinea. The population of approximately 3.6 million comprises ethnic Papuans, Melanesians, and Austronesians. The region is predominantly dense forest where numerous traditional tribes live such as the Dani of the Baliem Valley, although the majority of the population live in or near coastal areas. Raja Ampat is a paradise on earth. Untouched and absolutey gorgeous, Raja Ampat and its majestic islands put their spell to everyone who visit. Located on the northwestern tip of Papua, Raja Ampat stands for ‘Four Kings’ in native language. These kings are the beautiful islands of Waigeo, Misool, Batanta, and Salawati. More than 600 smaller islands are scattered around the larger ones. Raja Ampat lies in the center of the coral triangle, the most bio-diverse marine region on earth. Above water, the landscape of Raja Ampat is exceptionally stunning. Under water, it is as captivating if not more. The diversity of marine life in the area offers endless exploration. Raja Ampat is home to 1,430 species of reef fish, 10 times the number of hard coral species found in the entire Caribbean, 75% of all known coral species in the world, and 700 kinds of mollusk. Diving here is an experience unsurpassed by anything. Fish and other marine animals crowd the water, following divers, or just simply being nonchalant and just keep on with whatever they are doing. Manta rays, green turtles, even whales are regular sightings here.

DAY 01: JAYAPURA - WAMENA
Morning arrival of Jayapura airport after your night flight, met by Papua Adventure’s guide and assist for your 30 minutes noon flight to Wamena, arrival at Wamena airport process luggage and short transfer to hotel for check in, the rest of the day you may walk surrounding or take a rest. (exclude meals)
DAY 02: BALIEM VALLEY TOUR (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel and today drive to Napul hill for view of Baliem Valley (The valley is about 80 km in length by 20 km in width and lies at an altitude of about 1600-1700 metres), Sinakma village with crossing hanging bridge of Wamena river and passing Lani village. Lunch serve at local restaurant. After lunch visit Jibama local market and next continue to Wesaput - Pugima village. Afternoon driving back to hotel
DAY 03: JIWIKA (Dani Ceremonies of Pig feast & Dance) (B,L,D)
Breakfast and today driving 40 minutes to Jiwika village (North of Baliem Valley), see the Mummy at Sumpaima village and next walk to other village for 10 minutes for join and enjoy the Dani Ceremonies of Mock battle and Pig feast. You will see how they make fire traditionally, kill a pig with bow and arrow and cook them into the hot-burned stone with vegetables and sweet potatoes, the performance will be held about 4 – 5 hours (simple lunch box will be provided), after the local people cook their traditional food, the chief of village will serve their food like pig’s mean + sweet potatoes. Afternoon return to hotel
DAY 04: WAMENA – JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
Breakfast and transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura, Arrival at Jayapura airport, directly visiting Mc Arthur mounument of Ifar gunung, which during the WW II this located used as head quarter of American soldiers. From the top of hill (325 meter above sea level) you will view the panorama of Sentani lake and town. From there drive down to Sentani lake side and take a boat to explore the Sentani lake, see the life of people who live in the island and surrounding of lake. Lunch serve at Yogwa lake side restaurant. If time still permit could continue to see the anthropology Museum (open Mon-Sab 08,00-14.30, Sunday and public holidays are closed). Afternoon may go to local art shop to buy some arts from Papua. Check in to hotel
DAY 05: JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to next destinations. Also possible extend your trip to RAJA AMPAT a couple days for snorkeling and diving.

DAY 01: AIRPORT - SORONG - WAISAI (L, D)
Arrive at the airport Domine Eduard Osok, Sorong before 12:00 a.m. We will pick you up at the airport . If the time is still available for sightseeing,
(Schedule for fast boat Daily 14.00 – 16.00 & extra 3 times a week on Mon, Wed, Fri at 09.00 – 11.00)
we will accompany you if you want to look around the town a few hours before continue to the harbor and lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, then using fast ship while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding islands will lead us to Waisai Island is the capital of Raja Ampat for about from 2 - 3 hours. Next, we will be arrived at Waisai and will spend the night at resort that you chosen. Dinner will be served at resort
DAY 02: FULL DAY DIVING AT MANSUAR ISLAND (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we are going by speedboat to dive on 3 diving spot, take pictures of fishes and the beauty of coral reefs underwater. Lunch will be served in box. Afternoon we return to resort and dinner will be served at restaurant. (3 x Dive)
DAY 03: OBSERVE THE PARADISE BIRDS – (Friween – Batu lima) - SORONG (B, L, D)
Early morning before 06:00 a.m. we heading by speedboat for bird watching (Depend on the weather and local conditions), sometimes we are lucky and sometimes we are not. Enjoy the natural beauty flora and fauna. Breakfast and lunch will be served in box. After that, we go directly to Friween). You can do snorkeling here if you want and enjoy the natural surrounding also to interact with the local people. Next, depart to the port of Waisai immediately for ferry departure at 14:00 p.m. On arrival in Sorong, we will drop you to Hotel . Dinner tonight will be served at Tembok Berlin.
DAY 04: SORONG - DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, we will adjust to your flight schedule by providing transport to the Sorong Airport.
