Mandalika derived from the name of a royal princess in the legend of the Sasak tribe. The legend of Princess Mandalika dates back to the 16 th Century ago, the ancient kingdom of Tanjung Bitu was ruled by King Tonang Beru and his queen Seranting. Their daughter, princess Mandalika grew up to become a great beauty, and many princes wanted to marry her.
The sensitive princess was unable to reject any of her captivated suitors and the princess, from many kingdoms, decided to settle the matter by battle, agreeing that the winner would marry Princess Mandalika.
In order to bring peace to the land, princess Mandalika decided to sacrifice her life. She threw herself into the sea, so that no prince could have her. Before killing herself jumping into the sea, the princess said that in a special way, she would return each year to bring good fortune to her beloved people. Once her body touched the water, masses of sea worms appeared.

The Island of Lombok
Lombok is the western most island Lesser Sunda island chain of Indonesia. Lying directly east of Bali across the Lombok Strait, the island is roughly circular with a diameter of around 70 kilometers. With less than three million inhabitants spread across 4725 square kilometers of land Lombok is relatively un-crowded. Much of the population is centered around Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara province, which also includes the island of Sumbawa to the east.
The Gili Islands are an archipelago of three small islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air — just off the northwest coast of Lombok. The islands are a popular destination for tourists looking for a remote island experience. The beaches of the Gilis are still powdery white, the water a beautiful clear blue and they are positioned perfectly for sunsets over Bali’s Mt Agung and sunrise over Lombok’s Mt Rinjani.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL LOMBOK – SASAK TOUR (L,D)
Arrive at the Lombok International Airport, meeting service and this excursion will take you to explore southern part of Lombok to discover Sasak tribe (as Majority ethnic at Lombok),we will start our excursion visiting SADE / RAMBITAN the oldest Sasak traditional village at Lombok where for generations they live in a traditional house called Bale Tani built by using clay dunk as foundation. After lunch at local restaurant KUTA beach or TANJUNG Aan will be our last destination; famous for peppers white sands or if you want to experience solitude paradise beach you could change Kuta or Tanjung Aan to Mawun and Selong Belanak beach, next we heading to SUKARARA renown as central weaving of Lombok, featuring kinds of interesting motifs, at this village girls should know how to weave before get married, excursion members could try how to weave and try to wear Sasak marriage costums and take picture for souvenir (own Camera), BANYUMULEK famous as productor pottery out of clay where during visit you can try how to make pottery, transfer to Hotel for check in and free program. DAY 02: GILI TRAWANGAN TOUR (B.L.D)
After breakfast at Hotel, drive via west coast of Lombok, we will stop at BUKIT MALIMBU, famous for amazing panoramic photo with three GILI’S and Bali island at background, TELUK NARA / BANGSAL, as main harbor to cross the sea by boat to, GILI TRAWANGAN, The most famous GILI ( small island in Sasak Language ) compare to Gili Meno & Gili Air, there are such activities you can do on Island : Diving, Snorkeling, Glass Bottom Boat, horse and bicycle riding also available as main transport to visit around Gili Trawangan, Back to Teluk Nara / Bangsa harbor. Continuation to HUTAN PUSUK, famous as Monkey Forest where hundreds of wild monkey lined at side of road looking for food, Shopping Program, transfer back to the hotel for rest & free time. (Lunch & Dinner at Local Restaurant).

After breakfast at Hotel, pick up and direct Drive about 2,5 hours to south east of Lombok to reach TANJUNG LUAR HARBOUR east Lombok region, famous as the biggest fish market on Lombok island (in certain period also renown as Shark market ), from here we will continue our journey by outrigger Boat for ±45 minutes to PINK BEACH / TANGSI BEACH, swimming on pristine clear water, Snorkeling and touching pink sands spreading as long as bay, at GILI PETELU ±10 minutes from Pink Beach by boat, snorkeling will be our next activity, for 30 minutes, tropical multicolor fish and coral reefs will amaze you in a clear turquoise water will be an experience unforgettable, for ±30 minutes by boat to PULAU PASIR/PULAU GOSONG, this tiny isle can only be visit on low tight ( 50m2 ) & foto stop is highly recommended. Return to Tanjung Luar harbor ±15 minutes by boat, back to hotel for free & leisure. (Lunch will be served on picnic Lunch style & Dinner at Local Restaurant).

Pick up at hotel at 06.30 then transfer to Serangan for fast boating at 08.am to Gili Islands and arrival there at 10.30am. Proceed to your hotel for whole day free at leisure.
DAY 02: FULL DAY FREE PROGRAM (B)
Breakfast at hotel, whole day free at leisure where may do your own program to swimming, snorkeling, diving or sun bathing.
DAY 03: GILI TRAWANGAN – BALI (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning free program, then depart to Bali on fast boat at 11.45 am. Upon arrival at 14.00, transfer back to your hotel.
